Good job! I like that you made an easy mode, and thanks to that, normal mode can be merciless for a player :D In one moment you get this feeling of despair that everything looks the same and it's impossible to go out from here. Maze as a very popular motive in movies, mostly is made as a pretty boring/irritating element in video games, I think you achieved to overcome that.

Also I saw your page on ArtStation and it looks very, very, very interesting from this upper perspective (also graphics look better IMHO). I know it's harder to make a "maze" feeling when you see surrounding rooms, but maybe it could be also a worth trying conception?

My biggest problem was with movement, specifically that you can’t stop moving immediately, and because of that I couldn’t really read most of the writings – I didn’t want to lost time for aiming to stop in a good position.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Thanks, appreciate all the comments and the effort you made to test.
Happy you like the easy mode too, that was a last few days decisions to add :)

Yes I am still tweaking the movement, it uses the new Input Controller and is coded to have a maximum speed that you accelerate and decelerate to.

One of the decisions you need to make in the game is to run hard or to stop and read the messages, putting that choice there creates a conflict in the player (at least the first time). I refer to that in one of the messages on the way that asks "Do you have time to read this?
I'll have a play with increasing the stopping speed but I like some conflict to be there :)

I also agree that a minimap ( I think that's what you are suggesting) for easy mode would be good too.

The not stopping immediately has now been fixed :)
