The game still support Epic Games and Steam for PC but it no longer supports itch.io. You'll have to play on Steam or Epic Games if you wanna Freechat on PC

you need to buy the same game from steam to make an among us acount

Actually the itch.io download page has a steam key you can use.Unless you're unable to use Steam, for which there are a number of good reasons, including the client being a literal health hazard for some people.
The game no longer supports Itch.io. Try messaging the team on Discord.
