This is a great idea, and I love the general feel of the game. However, I find it easier to just let go of the criminal and manage all the other enemies in the level before grabbing them back, because if they have a gun, they're basically as dangerous as any other enemy. I feel like either buffing the criminal to discourage letting them get a gun, or having them escape after a while could be an effective counter to encourage the more fun style of play of juggling between the criminal and the gun.

Thanks! And yeah, you're right, sadly we ran out of time before I was able to fix that. The only thing I managed to do to differentiate him from the normal enemies was have him shooting a little faster, and get a bit closer to you, making it harder to dodge. But I really would've loved to flesh out the mechanics some more. Guess that's the nature of game jams!
