so lovely! Thank you for sharing! I saw the image of the tower in the discord at one point and was excited. I hoped it started on paper. I did the art digitally for mine and it was so much more difficult in many ways. I haven't done anything digital in over a decade and I didn't have a real pen or anything. No bite on a screen like you would get on paper so it was so much harder. Also I really appreciate the effect that comes from hand drawing and scanning in. So lovely! Thank you again for sharing <3

I gave you a follow on twitter btw (@genkisoda) it was nice to see more of your art and your process! Nice dev-log of sorts! Also I noticed you wrote 'zum see' on the sign post item and was wondering if you are in Germany/Austria?  I know that the guy running this jam asked for information about what engine people used to build their games but I would also really love to see a nationality breakdown too!

Oh, you are really attentive. Yes, Germany it is. Thanks for the Twitter follow, will follow you back. And here is my latest contribution to our game - you might be interested in the very last part, maybe. https://humane-tiger.itch.io/colored-artbook

Nice! We just moved to Austria but we are still babies at speaking German hahaha! Thanks for the twitter follow! I'm excited to see more of your art and it's inspiring me to make more myself!

That's a really nice country you picked! I like going for a hike in Austrian Alps - hiking is the other passion I have. Regarding learning german, for the beginning just make sure you can say "Biergarten", "Servus!", "Schnitzel" and "Kaiserschmarrn" - the rest is coming step by step ;-)

hahahaha I love it! I think you are right those are the most important words, maybe 'genau' and 'oida' are ones I would add to the list!

Genau :-) Oh, and be patient with us Germans/Austrians speaking English. We are trying really hard, but it doesn't come easy to us... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR0lWICH3rY
