This submission is extremely polished. This is a really cool take on the theme, and you executed it here very well. It feels really good to move, and there's plenty of player feedback to make killing things more impactful. The UI is also very fitting, and the pixelated graphics are charming. The overall gameplay was simple and easy to understand, and I love how you used the dialogue as a form of tutorial. You've got some really good stuff here.
The only thing I would say is that this would be so good with music, but it's a jam game so I get it. There also seems to be a bug where enemies can notice you through walls, but that's a very small thing and it doesn't take away from the core gameplay.
This is a solid game, and I think this will do really well in the jam!
