I like the idea of building "megazords" in order to defeat waves of alien. The deplacement/fusion/attack mechanics are easely understandable for the player, but i wonder how enemies work. Maybe an animation of their attacks could provide the player some clues where not to go to avoid them and shoot from afar or predict their movements. I also did'nt know why player's unit move between turns. Some knockback effect ?
It's a very interesting game though !

At the end of each turn, the player units are drawn towards the center of the screen assuming there's room for them to move. The idea is that the alien queen has some kind of gravitational effect pulling you in, but I agree it didn't really read too well. The enemies attack by pushing you towards the alien queen as well. I really would have liked to better animate their movements/attacks and the drawing in of players at the end of the turn, but I ran out of time!
