This is the most inherently interesting and fun concept I have seen for a puzzle game in this jam so far. It's extremely simple but once you spend just 10 seconds with it you start to see the potential of it. With some simple improvements I feel like this could be top 100 or top 20.

Feedback:

- Give a little leeway on when the player gets hurt by making the collider on the player smaller than the actual sprite by about 20%.

- Ramp up the difficulty more gradually. Start with an easier level than you have now, and also put another level between levels 1 and 2 you have here. I think players are more likely to stick with your game if you do it this way.

- More art, sounds, effects etc. could help as with any other game.

I think you have a seriously interesting concept here and I feel like with these improvements and others you could put this up as a mobile game on the App Store and be successful.

I think our games are somewhat similar actually, so I would love to hear your feedback on my game too, thanks.

Wow, that's really nice of you! I really appreciate the feedback, it's all very useful to me :) Giving a bit of leeway to the player is a great idea, it should help give that "almost died, but just barely made it" kind of excitement!
