First off, and most importantly, congratulations on your first entry to a game jam and finished project! You have all the reasons to be proud of the work you've done and hopefully more jam games come out from here on out!
And I must say, for a first jam entry, this was fantastic! 👏 I really liked the polished presentation with the smooth and dynamic camera, the screenshake, chromatic aberration and all of the other little effects that you've added that give the minimalistic aspect of the game as more smoothed-out presentation, and it does wonders!
The gameplay implementation was also pretty good! It's not the first time that I see marbel-like mechanics, but the mixture of pushing around blocks with them and converting the red atoms into atoms of your own was pretty neat! I really liked the introduction of the big red atoms with 50 health, and I really liked the buttons that you need to have a certain number of atoms to press. A pretty good toolkit of level design elements that I certainly look forward to see implemented in the post-jam version.
The only thing I'd highlight specifically is that I felt movement was a bit choppy at times, especially dragging the cursor around. I'm not sure if that's because of it being a WebGL build. That apart, I mostly feel that it could have used just a lil'bit more game mechanic and level variety, but for a first game jam, again, it was a fantastic job. Thank you for making this, and hope to see more of it soon! Cheers! 🐳
