I like the elastic feel the tether has between the two characters, it's much more appealing than just a rigid rope feel some games have when they share this concept. However, it can make stretching the elastic to its limits take a while. It's just a tad annoying when spend several seconds trying to make it around a corner only to find you just aren't close enough to each other, It's not game-breaking and it brings a layer of strategy to the gameplay (which isn't a bad thing at all).
