Likes:
- Sound design is pretty good for a jam game
- Art direction is consistent but lacking in some places. Well polished though
- Overall level of polish is definitely a stand out aspect
Dislikes:
- the level of precision needed for the movement mechanics make the game needlessly challenging at times
- the enemies and spikes in levels tend to blend with the environment more than they should (This could definitely just be a me problem)
- The physics of the rocket jump are borderline unusable at times. The forces being applied to the character while in the air are unwieldy at best. Not sure if this is a framerate issue (I use a 144hz monitor) or if its a physics issue.
Overall a really well made game and definitely one that standouts from other games I’ve played thus far.
