I don't believe your timer looking strange is a stylistic choice, is it? It's GMS2 right? it looks like you're drawing one or more surfaces incorrectly
Well, I didn't use a surface, probably I need to play around with views a bit for the web version. Also, the timer is a bug. It should be fixed when you download the game
