Overall (3/5):  It was a great attempt! Love the love that went into it, nice and ambient!

Gameplay (2/5): I kept pressing E to continue talking to the characters at first, then realized that I had to press Space to continue to talk to them. C and F are placed weirdly on my keyboard, and I didn't find it very comfortable to fight with them. Not intuitive, and definitely a minor error to fix. The sprite for Freyja only really move right and left, and I was expecting to see 4 directional sprites for her. A lot of large colliders to go around and get stuck on. Implementing y-sorting could have been interesting for the skeletons to not come on top of the fence.

Graphics (3/5): I loved the style, but felt there were some inconsistencies in detail and artstyles between the environment and the characters. I absolutely loved how cute those skeletons were! Very much enjoyed the animations as well. The sheer amount of art that went into the game is surprising, good job!

Audio (4/5): I admit that I felt that it kind of blared as soon as the game began, and I was worried about balancing issues. However, all negative thoughts flew away as I got immersed into the mood of the game. Very nice touch and kudos on managing to switch between "combat" and "non-combative/ambient" music, depending on what Freyja was doing!

Thematic (4/5) and Historical Accuracy (3/5): Feel free to debate me on this, but since I had little to work with in terms of lore to cross-check, the ratings sit where they do.

Small nitpick, but I found the itch page for your submission to be relatively barebone compared to how colorful and interesting the game world itself was. I would suggest taking some time and sprucing it up to reflect the liveliness of your art and music!
