just wondered if you’ve seen Tenement01’s images on DeviantArt? It really does show that Space 1999 is still a much loved show and still kept alive in people’s minds by the many artists and programmers like yourself. A big 👍 up, to all of the great work still being done. 🙂

What a coincidence Richard, just last week a friend of mine asked me if it would be possible to create a SteamVR Home environment using the Main Mission 3D model. He sent me a 3D rendering as an example but when I asked him where the image came from he couldn’t remember. I ended up doing a Google Reverse Image search to locate the author and it ended up being Tenement’s DeviantArt web page :-)

His stuff is so much more artistic than mine. It is difficult for me to add grunge to my 3D models which would give it a far more believable look and feel. Boy would I love to see Tenement’s models in VR but I guess everybody has their own medium that they like to work in :-)

His work is outstanding, but so is yours. Seeing things in VR is better than just seeing things as a 2D image. And as for the grunge, Space 1999 always had a bright crisp clean look and I think you capture that style amazingly well. Tenements work is also outstanding and it’s good to have both of you doing amazing Space 1999 recreations.
