Narratively the idea was that the main character stays in the cell due to stubbornness, but I probably failed to communicate that. The idea of rotating with separate keys was definitely inspired by twin-stick shooters, though I noticed that mechanic didn't work as well for keyboards. Anyway, thanks a ton for playing.

You're welcome. I think if you placed the play area near the window of the cell, it might have conveyed that a bit better. As for the controls, I would try and get this game to work on controllers, I think it would play much better that way. As for the rotation, I would suggest making the player actually rotate in 360 degrees, rather than simply changing directions.
