Awww, I personally think it's super flawed, but I'm really glad you liked it. That makes me happy!
I may turn to using on screen enemies and such in future games.

You made a fully functioning game in a handful of weeks. Sure there might be some small issues, but you made a very beautiful looking game with a cute story.
