Yes, that is a visual glitch. The game was made quickly for a game jam so it's got a lot of little oddities like that. I'm glad you thought it was cute though - thanks.

It is insanely easy to think yer game is simpler than it is. Frankly I wish I had done more testing of the final section in particular (the Cave), but if you only dwell on what you wish you did I guess you'd get no where.
The glitch though - that was where when using a sword and running into a Reid with a predetermined path the game would lock up. I solved this by just having Harold step back if it happened, but in theory if there is a wall/object behind Harold the game would still lock up. Frankly I don't like my solution, but since my test player didn't get to the game finished til late (curse you real life) I was left with that as the quickest option that left the game mostly playable.
Glad you like the clickables. I was gonna have a lot more, but - yeah - like you said - time. They were my favorite part - I loved teasing Harold.
I like the writing a lot (flex-flex-flex) and the way you integrated Lore/Blue Magic skills into the starting fight was very well done (flex-flex-flex).
Battles were to difficult so in the end I couldn't finish it. Needs a bit more balancing.
Lots of cute ideas though and chalk full of Harold goodness!

Little Issues I noticed when:
1) When you leave the tutorial fight and go to the castle (Castle Em'Vie), you're still facing down. It's awkward. This is true of other places too.
2) It looks like the guards in front of the throne have part of their heads cut off.
Something funny. I have no idea what "Improve Performance" does. It came with a script I used and I forgot to remove it in the rush. (Heck, now I'm not even sure if you can remove it.)
Positive X spells were originally enemy only, but near the end I realized Tamika was lacking in having many skills so I gave her those to save time when I really should have made original versions for her with unique names like I did for most of the spells.
I thought characters did have TP Persist. Perhaps something went wrong? I'll look into it when/if I can get around to fixing this game up post-Jam.
That said, thank you so much. Feedback is incredibly important. I will take all of this into account in future endeavors.
Over 5000 hours, I don't even have half of that. (cries)
But silliness aside - I need a lot more practice if I'm gonna make anything truly professional feeling. I'll keep working hard. If you think of anything else let me know, this kind of feedback is really important.
My tester for this game was my brother and co-partner for game creation (although he didn't help much outside of test playing with this game). I worry he was a bit to lenient on the game so I'll search other people for later games - which would be wise anyway since he works on most of those games too lol.
Edit: I'll totally have to give yer game a play through - beware though - I won't hold back MY harsh criticisms. :D
I'm kidding.
[jokinglyly]Ouch, I'm going to react badly and blame you for this game I worked on in less than two weeks being kinda bad![j/okingly]
Some of this stuff I kinda already knew were problems, but I didn't get to fix for one reason or another. (Like the prices and the UI) Some of it's because I've never made a real game before and am very green.
As for the Lightning area - it was supposed to seal all yer equipment but that seemed unfair so I changed it so Acc. stayed on and forgot to remove the fact that I told the game to remove them.
I'll keep this all in mind for future projects (and probably going back to fix this one in the future tot he best of my ability). Thank you for yer input, it's very important.
Well this sounds cute. I don't know if I'll watch, but yer free to do mine: https://itch.io/jam/rpg-maker-mz-touch-the-stars-game-jam/rate/1132853
