I was trying to see if there was a trick to seeing more, so I decided to put the egg over the button.If I move the egg over the middle of the button, I can't pick the egg up anymore.
Yeah, it's pretty barebones atm, as I've been working on other things. You can open up the pause menu and use the "pet stuck" button to move it back to the default position, for future reference.
