In terms of the Demon Dust my plan was for each of the 3 layers, Denial, Anger, and Depression would have their own dust (so Denial Dust, Anger Dust etc...) which would allow you to create stronger equipment with the better types, and obviously the harder the dust is to obtain the less of it you'll need to make good items.
