For this compo/jam, only judges are able to vote. We expect they'll need some time to judge all the entries once the jam closes. The amount of time will depend on the number of entries they have to review.

But then why is there a Rate the Game option available on every game if only judges can vote?

Not sure, maybe it's a quirk of itch.io's UI?

Voting for the Jam is set this way in the control panel:

Who can vote on entries?

[ ] Submitters only — Submission uploader can vote on other entries

[ ] Submitters & contributors — Both submitter and contributors to submission can vote

[ X ] Judges — Only people added as judges can vote

[ ] Public — Anyone can vote

Quite a few people have already voted so that might affect the ratings

I looked into this more, and I think what you are seeing may be the standard itch.io rating option available for all entries on the platform. I don't think that gets mixed with the ranking done by judges.
