Erin---this is *WAY* outdated so don't know if your checking replies or not----but as I posted elsewhere there's another way----have your MC [MASTER] be a "Apprentice" (class) This gives you an extra out option for that quest.
I always start with apprentice, but I don't think using it there was an option when I posted this. Thanks
