Unfortunately I only have a touchpad right now and it's a bit hard to play without a mouse but I managed to get some pieces in the correct place and I can see it being quite satisfying. The concept is interesting ad it's unlike anything I've seen so far. Btw I think I ran into a bug at some point, when I release a piece that's rotated at 45° it throws it out of the grid in a certain spot, after 2-3 pieces pile up in that spot they start to flicker (possibily interacting with each other)

Yep the bug mentioned is a bit of a bane of my existence, I fixed a lot today ... but not that particular issue. Easy fix is to have it rotate 90 degrees instead of 45 but i felt this takes away from the Rotatron aspect :(.
For learnings sake the main issue is the collision box.... learning for puzzle games make them about 50% smaller. I think this would fix it a for the most part, I also made it so pieces held don't interrupt place pieces as I found this problematic too.
