This is amazing, competing with yourself. This is an astounding concept. 
one issue was the jumping, it seemed a little extreme, when I pressed the space bar and jumped about 20ft in the air, but the idea is so good that I can't fault it. 5 star!

youtube! if there is a video explaining it? I'm not expecting you to type it all up. I watched a gdc presentation by jonathan blow about the concept, but how it is actually achieved is eluding me. but if you want to keep your secrets, I'll understand.

ah i dont know if there is. i just took the position of the player every frame and added it to an array and when the level restarts, i instantiate a new object which goes through that array every frame

well thank you for explaining that, I suspect this would be through a fixedupdate? Were short levels a consideration for you? please tell me to shut up if my questions are annoying.
