Really nice game! It feels responsive, it is very clear where the bullets are, it feels juicy to shoot and kill enemies. The artstyle is also right up my alley, I think it is beautiful! Great job!

But I would also like to give some critical feedback, because I believe that is more helpful :) Have you every heard of 'Cayote time' in games? The platformer Celeste is a good example where that was used very well. It basically means that you allow the player to jump, even if they in reality already walked off a platform. In your games it sometimes felt like I should have been able to jump, but instead I just walked off the platform. I think it would feel better if there is a small buffer there :)

Another point is that the first level is extremely hard. Maybe the hardest of all levels because of those small enemies. At some point I got so frustrated that I just rushed past all the enemies to the end. The other levels I enjoyed a lot more, and I was really happy to see there was a conclusion with a boss battle!

Criticism aside I truely enjoyed your game! It felt really good to play, and I think that is very important. Definitely one of the best games in the jam I played so far :D

Yes, i did heard about Cayote time as Celeste is my favourite game! :D But I didn't implement it because I thought "Welp, it's not that of a big feuture" but ohhh boyy... was I wrong! Coyote time makes a HUGE different and it's not that hard to implement, I need to keep that in mind next time i'll do a platformer, beucause I should've make the movement the top priority of this game!

Regarding the first level I totally forgot to put Checkpoints since it was one of the last things I implemented! And if I placed some of them in the first level I think it would be easier and fairer, it was tottaly my bad!

Thanks a lot for your kind feedback, all the critics help me a buch be a better developer! :D
