In what way does your game fit the theme?
It is a bullet hell platformer game which gets pretty chaotic with the amout of bullets on screen
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, assets were made in aseprite, music in famitracker and code in godot

Your game is awesome, I love the concept and design. Since it is fast paced I found it quite difficult in the start to not get hit. But when the checkpoints were introduced , i was :) . I also struck an idea as I was observing your interesting AI enemies. Do they jump based on some triggers you placed on the platforms, or do they use some other mechanism? I wonder if there's a boss btw, I got stuck somewhere, very hard lol
I should've introduced checkpoints right in the first level! xD
Glad you asked! They cast a raycast downwards and a bit in front of them, and if there's no ground collision, they jump, they also jump if they collide with the wall.
Yes, there is a boss! You didn't reach him but at least you enjoyed what you played cc: Next time i'll try to ballance the difficulty and make the controls more responsive! Thanks for playing :D
Your game looks good, good job! Although I couldn't load the game. I had error: null function or function signature mismatch
great game! it felt super polished! loved the gameplay. Also the checkpoints and even a boss battle!
Really well well done art and music, the level design as well was top notch. I want to say the enemies jumping over gaps was one of the biggest subversion of expectations i've ever seen lol. I thought i was safe
This is a pretty looking game for just a week. Super well done!
I think you achieved the bullet hell but a little too well. The addition of platforming makes this a lot to ask for in the beginning and having enemies track your movement feels really harsh. I think the later levels with the 8 way bullet spitters and the immobile shotgunners feel a lot better to play against because it's easier to time your movement with their shots. I might have made the red and orange amogusboys just shoot straight and maybe jump, but not shoot at angles.
I was a little disappointed (and relieved) that I could just run past most sections.
A dang good jam entry. Good job and congrats on finishing!
I tottaly agree with you, many perople found the third level "easier" that the rest, because it was the most fair!
That actually was a good idea, someday if I make another bullet hell like this one I'll have that in mind! :D
That was my bad, when I played the game, i didn't think on just rushing through, but then I watched someone doing that and it opened my eyes haha
Thanks for playing it and for the feedback, it'll help me a lot!
Really cool game! The jumping is a bit too much for my liking, especially with how zippy the character is. Also, other than the boss itself, the levels can be just powered through without even shooting. Still, this is a well made game and the spritework is really nice! Good job!
Honestly this is super cute and well done. Very nice job on the sprite work and the overall look and feel. This is really great. I would love to see more levels. Awesome job.
a fellow godot dev <3 good job on making a polished game :)
I think the gamespeed is a bit fast, but it was still playable :P
I love this pixel art style And the AI is very intelligent. great job.
I really liked this game, very fun. Audio, movement and art are all very good. My only note is some checkpoints are really easy to take one hit and run through with invincibility. I like the option of not having to fight them, but maybe adding a stun or a movement penalty when hit to stop people from just running through. Great game though, nice job!
Nice game. Good amount of crunch, and fun gameplay. I think the camera should move more towards where you are aiming the mouse. Solid entry, well done.
