My initial idea was to have a select or destroy mechanic where you shoot with left arrow to select the letter and shoot with right arrow to destroy the letter. That way you can complete the list in actual order. But I thought having different bullet types will confuse the player a bit more, so I scraped the earlier idea.
About the slow mouse movement, at first I snapped the player to mouse position but that felt janky and had some weird jerks so I added smooth follow mouse movement, but I guess it feels a bit unresponsive.
