I'm sorry, but I still don't know what is causing the input bug but it looks like only some people experience this. About the gameplay I'll be doing full walkthrough of the game and posting a video of it here so stay tuned. :)
I should have updated my post! I made my husband play it (who also loved the art) and he made the jump (by timing the speedbar just right). Equally nice art after the first level too :)
