Great bullet hell idea. Unfortunately has a few frustrating mechanics but all in all met the theme well.

No worries. I found that the fact that the coins de-spawned was quite annoying, when you are running around a lot like in most bullet hell games its hard to get to the death point of most of the mobs immediately so I would end up loosing a lot of coins that way. The beam that is unavoidable seemed unnecessary to me. Also I liked that you maintained the wave you were up to but since you loose the gun you previously bought upon death, I can see how you would get infinitely stuck on the harder levels with the default weapon, unable to gain any coins.
Actually i agree with you. I think i should remove the disappear time of coins/healths. And also you can avoid the laser beam. As i mentioned on mini tutorial screen(yes i know its worst of its kind) you can dash with right mouse button to avoid lasers, or dodge bullets and slimes.
I think "if you death you lose your weapon" is main piece of game. But i can make more powerful start weapon and maybe increase the gold drop rate.
