This is wild. I generally enjoy games where I have no idea what I'm doing. This was one of those games. So I sort of meandered from room to room, discovering all the toilets. Toilet exploration is a highlight of this game. The varied and bizarre toilets are definitely unusual. I enjoyed finding them all.
It's really refreshing to see surrealistic games with no real reference point. Just strange and uncomfortable in the most lovely way. There's a bit of an irreverent attitude to the execution as well, which I liked. I mean, that's sort of obvious from a game where you have to feed a toilet :/
Great integration of the cursed image. A toilet that eats things is definitely the key mechanic and aesthetic of the game. I didn't quite understand whether I was doing anything that would progress the game - the feedback on the toilet eating things made things a little ambiguous, but all good!
I did a playthrough of the game - although I didn't go very well:
I definitely need to revisit this. I feel like I haven't even scratched the proverbial surface. There are still doors I'm not sure how to open and toilets I'm not sure how to feed. This game has ultimately made me change the way I think about toilets, and for that, I am very grateful.
Great job on this!
Oh, and if the jump sound effect is from Petscop (?) then that's awesome and absolutely on point.
