I played your game now for over two hours and at least discovered around 40% of the map and one of the artefacts. I think everything in your game fits great together.

Even though at first the game seems to be simple, it contains a lot of difficult techniques for SNES development so you really did a great work on putting all of them together.

Mostly I'm missing some kind of hints about the items you can buy before buying those. For example, I bought a laser and tried to shoot at different things but except for rocks breaking nothing happened. (Afterwards maybe because a "hit animation" for enemies is missing). I bought the maximum speed engine but still can't move blocks because my engine isn't strong enough. That's not too bad about gameplay as you can always just keep on collecting and buying other stuff, but it would have helped me to know what to buy first.

The only thing that bothered me personally a little bit was that I always had to travel back to the station when my energy level went low and that became more and more time consuming for larger distances. I did manage to buy a solar panel but didn't know early enough that I'd need a different hull to add it additionally. On the other side I know that I'm just not the patient guy so I guess it's just my personal opinion.

I'm not sure if I make it till the end until the game jam ends, but I'll try. I don't know if the theme "perspective" is something that is being revealed at the end of the game or if I just didn't see it. Maybe you can give me a hint about this?

Overall I think your submission is a really great game and you put in a lot of love and techniques into this game. The music and atmosphere of the game fits together and I'll keep on playing until I found all artefacts :)

Thank you for your great submission!

Thanks for the feedback!

A hit animation indeed could be added, maybe a blink or similar. There is a death animation, they turn to dust, but it takes a while to kill an enemy with the lowest power laser.

For the engine, did you switch gears with L/R? Try pushing at speed 3 or 4.

This is definitely a "slow" game, kinda like Harvest Moons or so. Not for every player's taste. For perspective, see my other comment (and KungFuFurby's) on the game page; it's only at a meta level really.

Ah cool! Thank you for the hint with L/R. Now exploring the world is quite easier! I now found two artefacts, one boss and discovered 80% of the map <3

Oh yeah! I caught on to changing speed with L/R, although admittedly I completely forgot to look at the controls on the actual game submission page and instead just simply went impromptu. Also, as far as the solar panels go, I'd have to figure out how exactly to figure out how well they charge, since I know I can upgrade them in theory... and my method of waiting for them to charge the slow way to deal with a dead battery ran into a problem when the dialogue kept coming up (leaving me to auto-fire the B button) before ultimately deciding to abort anyways, partially because I didn't know how quickly it would actually charge... and partially because if I were constantly under attack, it wouldn't work too well anyways depending on the charging rate.

Yeah, if you're under attack and not just ran out riding around, solar panels probably charge too slow.
