I struggle with Unity but I'm looking for a Unity programmer to help me with an FPS project or least get the basics started (help as in create it for me, I haven't been able to do it myself).

Was skimming through posts and wanted to drop a comment! Good to see you guys are connecting, hopefully your collab will be in value for both of you! :)
Most people will usually use discord and dm each other through there. Also a great way to share assets, screens and live chat etc..
