Same! I deleted the base game, reinstalled, and put the files from all the DLCs in the game folder but it still does the same as what you described above
I'm really sorry for that. It kind of depends on your device/history with the game. Sometimes files still work, sometimes they're too old or just incompatible for some reason to work with a newer version and you have to start a new game from the beginning.
