Evade left and right don't seem to do much? The boss is always facing you so you can't really side step an attack, unless the evade is ignoring damage but I can't tell. Maybe if the text was a bit bigger I'd be able to tell, but what you have now looks like a good foundation for a fighting game should you ever want to make one

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the evade is very clunky and certainly needs improvement. Hopefully in the future if i ever revisit these kinds of mechanics I'll be able to polish it.
