As for Ebon Leather, it should be craftable after you reach Level 2 Tailoring at a Tailoring Table.
my tailoring is lvl 4, it goes from duvet to fancy cloak, no E's
I have found the issue, the recipe list wasn't updating correctly. I have fixed it now and re-uploaded the game files with the fix!
