Turn-based tactics are my ISH. Took me a minute to get comfortable with the system, but it makes sense. Orientation. You've taken the turret/tank nature of Mechs and made it turn-based. You want to reorient and change angles? It's going to take time. This was super cool. We're just game jamming, but I want to know what changes you have in mind for the future.
