Hello, I don't know where you are along in the plot, but the most likely case is that there is another objective besides sleeping required.
After Mercy settles into Esterholt, the first objective is to search the manor and village for clues. Read books and talk to villagers until she learns what she can.
I would have thought then that housecarl saying rooms are available should be disabled until all paths are true for it. Might also be nice to have another spot you can rest.. games painful at the moment due to this.
On another subject, your gold economics seriously needs rethinking, 40 gold to buy an apple but you only get 50 gold for selling a pearl "that can be sold for a great price". so a pearl is worth 2.5 apples....
It's also so easy to forget what your supposed to be doing as theres no quest log to refer to took hours to finish witchdale due to that (finished it by accident).
Have to say though enjoying the game and thanks for the updates on public release. I'm unemployed so dont have money to become a patron and have found your one of the rare games that do provide us broke players a decent game to help take out minds off life (especially one where your allowed so much freedom to move).
