Yeah, it comes with the game.

The debug room is not available to the public, it was a special patron tier reward. But the accessibility mode is available to the public if you are struggling; with that, you have access to infinite respecs which might help you get through some hard parts of the game. Although some of the benefits of accessibility mode won't appear unless you start a new game in it.
Hi, this bug has been know to return from time to time based on an encryption error when uploading a new build, but it shouldn't be in the latest to my knowledge. Check to make sure you're up to date and if not, transfer your save to the newest build. If the problem still persists, I'll have to upload another patch over the weekend.
Sorry folks, I don't get notifications for comments here, so I hadn't seen these reports. The public build here will soon be replaced by a newer demo (and this bug has long-since been fixed, I just didn't know it was also in the public build).
In the future, if you need a faster reply, feel free to shoot us a message on Patreon or hop in the community Discord.
Hi Xeanie, please forgive the late reply, I've been very busy lately with preparing the game for launch and don't get around to itch.io very often.
The patron build (soon to be the full launch version) adds several hours of content & many gameplay, visual & performance improvements for the whole game. Now is your last chance, however, to pick it up in early access before the official Steam launch. Soon (probably within a week), I'll be restructuring the Patreon.
Best,
Nym
Hi Heiler, sorry for the late reply. For some reason we never get notifications on this site and don't think to check it often.
Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do for your save file.
And yes, the harp language is based on the Turkish language but it was never supposed to be exactly Turkish. Unfortunately, at some point we started making it a little too realistically Turkish based on dictionaries and language resources even though we aren't native speakers, which I'm sure is causing some issues with people who actually speak the language...
Ideally, we would like to make it a good blend of fantasy language with Turkish roots and inspiration. If you have any tips or feedback, we'd be happy to hear it.
Hello, sorry for the late reply but thanks for the feedback and for playing. There are a lot of different variables with how you design your character, so it's hard to say why you might be having trouble with those 2 fights in particular.
Newer builds of the game allow for more flexibility when building your characters, both in terms of stats and swapping between equipment in combat, so I think it will be easier to account for bad matchups. Hope that helps.
The buried chests are stat checks, not patron items. Dunno where you are in the game's narrative, so I can't direct you much, but I would be surprised at this point if there's an issue with progression in the public build.
After sleeping in the White Rat and talking with Marlan, you have to visit the tents in the mining district to find Ralph, then return to Marlan in the inn.
Mercy won't fight the guy in the aqueducts until after she's encountered the Crows, so if you haven't done that yet, it means you probably haven't progressed to nightfall.
Hi, there is not a visual armor system. You can play casually insofar as you can save anywhere on the map and come back to it later.
The story is partially linear but with many different branching paths. Later in the game, the overworld also opens up more and unlocks broader exploration and nonlinear play.
Hello, I don't know where you are along in the plot, but the most likely case is that there is another objective besides sleeping required.
After Mercy settles into Esterholt, the first objective is to search the manor and village for clues. Read books and talk to villagers until she learns what she can.
Hi there, sorry for the trouble. Unfortunately, we don't have access to a Linux machine and can do little to help troubleshoot on Linux devices. In this case, if it can't find an image file, I have to wonder if the file structure has been altered in any way or needs to be altered to work correctly.
In this case, it's failing to load the very first image that comes up, so it seems like it can't find the titles2 folder. Check to make sure the "Game" file is in the root folder and that the file structure looks like this for the image that's missing: Daughter of Essence (Lin) v0.24.3\www\img\titles2. You should see command_0.rpgmvp in the folder there.
