Will the players be able to recruit the class girls or any other member for the main team? And have them be exchangeable with the other party characters? It could be linked to a really long and difficult quest + dungeons that if you get every thing done right you can ask them to join your team.

It's fine then. It would be cool to have them join you while adventuring around Psema and unlocking more romance events or just cute dialogues even if they don't join the team for fights and just added more dialogues or events outcomes, but if you didn't make the game to work like this it's cool. Less likely to rise more problems with the code later on.
