First of all, I have to tell you that your game does not suck :3 Being a solo dev is super hard! For that matter, being a dev of any kind is hard >.< And everyone's gotta start somewhere. When I first started trying to teach myself how to make VNs, I couldn't have done a bunch of the stuff you've done here in my first project. And even now, I can't draw, and I sure as hell can't animate. I only recently began attempting to make music. So you should give yourself a huge pat on the back because you've achieved something awesome just by putting everything together and submitting a game to the jam :D

So many people say they're gonna do something. They spend a bunch of time talking about it without actually doing it. Or they start but never finish. You've already done more than a lot of people manage :3

I know what it's like though to feel as though stuff you've made sucks because I often feel that way about anything I make since I have extremely low self-confidence >.<

Anyways, I really love what you did with the play button on the title screen! It was very funky and I have no idea how to make animated buttons like that but I wish I did x3 I like the atmosphere in this that seems filled with a sense of suffocating hopelessness. I was really intrigued to see where things were going when they started to become more disturbing, but I think I ran into some sort of bug that crashed the game >.< Maybe it's intentional because I know some games to have like fake crashes and stuff. I took a screenshot anyhow in case it's any help at all. I'll just put it at the bottom.

Also, I'm not sure if you're aware already or not, but the font doesn't seem to have apostrophes because any time there's supposed to be one in a word, like "I'm" it just shows a little rectangular box instead.

I hope you keep making more games anyhow! Heck, you could even try joining a team for a future jam :3 I used to try and do everything solo, but one day I just decided to have a go at teaming up with people because I felt like there's only so much I can do with free or purchased assets. Honestly, it was a really wonderful experience, and I'm so glad I did it because now I would never want to make a jam game solo again :D
