I really liked the aesthetic choices at work here. The ship designs, glow, particle effects, music and sound effects all feel fun!
I found myself wishing that I had a little more feedback on when I got hit - sometimes the sound effect for getting hit is drowned out by the music and other effects.
I also wished that vertical movement had more gameplay relevance. The playspace feels a little too small for vertical movement to be useful in dodging incoming projectiles, and only shooting forward means that there's nothing to gain from getting up alongside an enemy.
