I added the hourglass to increase difficulty. It's supposed to represent time and how time is just an obstacle to progress so you don't actually get any resources for clearing them. I'll add a note to the description page for that.

The find match stuff gives you 3 turns to make a match of that type. If you fail you lose 50 of that specific resource and if you win you gain 50. I meant to add some visual indicators that would pop on the screen but I forgot until reading your comment. Also, it isn't always active. There is a 1/3 chance for it to trigger after each turn. So once it says "success" or "failure" it is inactive until a turn count comes back.

There is actually a really good YouTube tutorial by TaftCreates that goes over creating a match-3 puzzle game and it gave me a lot of good insight into how to make it happen.

Got it, I think that resolves a lot of my confusion. It's a very well game, so thank you for making it haha. I might also pay that tutorial you mentioned a visit, so I appreciate the recommendation!
