This was… an experience! My highest rating is in horror and design, as this is was quite interesting. Being how this game seems to start so innocently, I will admit the sudden dark turn was unexpected.

This said, I did encounter some problematic bugs. Firstly, the dog failed to do anything. He would creep up on me, but sitting in a corner proved to be his downfall as he would walk away. Eventually, while hiding behind the couch, he got stuck and simply stopped moving. I couldn’t seem to interact with him either. Eventually I found an item in front of the TV, but once again could not do anything in terms of interacting with it. Maybe this is player error, but it left me quite lost.

Bugs aside, this is actually an interesting concept and I personally would love to see this flushed out further! Thanks for the unique experience!

The stalking enemy was designed to be less of a direct threat. We had considered adding additional enemies that would make it dangerous to manage while fighting throughout the house, but we decided to focus elsewhere in the time that we had. It is entirely possible that the item itself was bugged though! It wasn't discovered that some spawns were having issues until late in the development cycle, and I had thought we had fixed all spawn locations, but sadly it seems we didn't! Thank you for playing!
