Really disturbing! The concept is cool even if the execution is a little rough. You might wanna consider using the same key for interacting and examining in your next game :P nice job!

yeah, we considered this but decided not to just to make it a bit clearer to the player character that the interaction was different (and would lead to game progression). We like making all our own assets within the time limit for the jam (because who doesn't enjoy an extra challenge?), but will add an update with smoother graphics/animations etc after the jam :) thanks for checking out our game :D
