Cute game with nice art. It took a minute to work out where the gnomes were coming from, but once I got into it having the gun and the candy sword was fun, although the ending felt a bit arbitrary. Overall nicely done :)

The game played very well. Nice choice of pictures, and having the difficulty options is a nice extra touch :) 

Well done for making everything yourself in such a short timespan. The idea was nice,  I wasn't sure how the candy cane barriers worked though, since I could drag the elves across them.

The artwork is very sweet, but I couldn't get the game to play properly- when given the options to click 1,2,3 or 4 I couldn't get anything to happen :(

I wouldn't normally cross picket lines, but that was a fun game :D. The perspective made it a bit tricky sometimes, especially when the elves and presents came very close together, but this was offset by the gameplay itself being relatively simple, so it balanced out to a fun challenge. The newspaper added some fun too :)

That was very polished for such a short game jam. The gameplay, music and art style were cute and complemented each other well. Merry Ratsmas :D

That's odd... It seems to work fine on my browser (Chrome on Windows 11). I'm not sure what it could be, but just as a cover all solution you could try a different browser (64-bit browsers and particularly Firefox or Chrome are meant to work the best with this).

Thank you so much, I think that might be one of the nicest comments we've ever had. We're really glad you enjoyed the game and stuck it out, despite the glitches. It also really motivates us to update the game to a fully functional version after the jam :D

Really fun concept; you really captured the feeling of being alone in the dark and starting to imagine everything coming to life. We thought the photorealistic textures clashed a bit with the stylized elements, and the game was a bit longer than it needed to be, but overall great job!

Great game, loads of fun. When we went to catch up with Cheryl we ended up clipping into the ground and trapped in the carpet. 11/10 would visit Cheryl again. 

Thanks for trying our game,  we're glad you enjoyed it. Some of the darkness can be lifted by solving one of the puzzles, but yeah the lighting is one part we are definitely going to rework after the jam is over :)

Ostriches can't fly you say? That maybe true, but what about ostriches that run up hills at super speed and collect extra feathers along the way? FNGD here, just released our new simple platformer. Helping flightless birds live their dreams, one ostrich at a time :D
