2GB ? I don't have a drop dropbox account. Requiring players to create an account on dropbox to be able to play your game on top of  having to download 2GB will discourage most players to try your game.

I'm curious, what engine is this game made with ?

Hi Rocky, dropbox accounts are free and itch.io has a 1GB download limit for projects. This is a UE5 game so it's got lots of cool visual and gameplay features that are next gen like Global Illumination.

It's also an open world level with lots of space to explore, 2GB is pretty small for nex gen 3D games even for solo indie productions like this one.

Ok I'm mentioning it because I did my first jam in 3D in UE4 and once zipped was 320MB and after following this:
https://docs.unrealengine.com/4.26/en-US/TestingAndOptimization/PerformanceAndPr...
I reduced it to a 120 MB download.

It is UE4 tho and nowadays I only do 2D, but you might be able to do something to reduce it to reach the 1GB limit. Cause download builds are already ignored by people who only want to play in browser, the dropbox extra step will make even more people give up.

Thanks, this was fully cooked by the book and packaged with the Project Launcher. I used to work on UE4/5, so I'm well aware of all the best practices! Its just a big beefy boy of a project with lots of bells and whistles in it. Thanks anyways :)

Great ! Sorry, I didnt want to be patronizing or anything 😅, it's just a really common Unreal mistake haha.
Now that it's out of the way, I'll go make a dropbox account haha.😄
