No, the Shatter/Awaken choices are largely locked for each character (solo dev - true branching storylines just aren't doable, sadly!) with just one or two exceptions. Even with the exceptions, however, the choice is always available regardless of your previous choices :)

Once CK is "done" I'll spend a couple of months going back over it, adding events, polishing things, and making QoL changes all based on player feedback. At the same time I'll also be prototyping the next game I'll be making. So there may be more branching paths added, but they'll likely be small and won't drastically influence the story :)
