I understand your point on the minimap. I was debating this point during development... I felt the puzzles were too hard/frustrating when the minimap was just the solved state and on the other hand could be "misused" when it showed all information. I didn't have a solid idea I could implement during the jam so I opted for making it easier instead of more frustrating. I wanted people to be able to experience the editor mode as well :)
