The graphics were fine... I totally liked that atmosphere you put me in. Unfortunately the levels were a bit too easy... at least for me. Liked the dialogs and idea of the game... you might be able to add more fun and difficulty by adding some more game elements as barriers and different colors... not just dark/light. Let me know about any such new stuff added to the game... would love to see it!

Thanks for playing!

I agree with what you mention, didn't have the time to implement something solid... I have an other game  idea for the appearance/disappearance of the blocks. If I get that going I'll let you know :)

Nice work! Once you get the hang of going back-and-forth to clear tiles, it isn’t too challenging, yet it is somehow still satisfying as you get into a certain rhythm.

Yeah I know, that's another reason I stopped at 5 levels, there need to be one or more extra elements to the game to make it complete. Some sort of bonus/pick up/upgrade and or penalty. But I couldn't find something balanced in the time frame :)

I was quite lost at the beginning but I managed to work out a strategy by going back and forth one by one fixing the tiles as I pleased. Not sure if that's how it's meant to be solved or not, but it worked for me! I also liked the background music quite a bit.

Thanks for playing!

That is a way of solving the puzzles, there is some content missing to either guide the player in a certain way or stimulate a certain way of playing.

How on earth did you manage to squeeze in a level editor?! I'm really impressed!

The whole game is well put together. Great work.

The only thing I didn't like was how the mini-map diverts attention - as IndecisionEngine already pointed out.

Haha the level editor was really easy to create... I made it very early on in the jam as I needed it to create the puzzles. The puzzles are just 2D array's so to visualize what the solve state of a puzzle is I got lost with all the [[0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0], [...]]. The editor is basically a copy implementation of the game, but instead of interacting by visiting the squares you can click them.

Awesome game! Such a neat concept. Really awesome that you released the level editor with it too!!

I passed all levels, yaay!

I like the isometric design, and the level editor at the end :)

Developer

Thanks for playing, again, evilc00kie!

The isometric view was my personal challenge for this jam :-)

Nice game, I really liked the tile animations! Also it was really cool that you made a level editor.

Honestly, I found the game a bit too easy since you could just hop back and forth between tiles.

Overall, nice work, well done! :)

Thanks for playing!

I agree it's easy, if I had more time I would have liked to add some more mechanics or goals... But a jam wouldn't be a jam without a time restraint :-D

Great game. I liked those puzzle.

However I felt like I cheesed it because you can go back and forth and change only one tile at a time.

The block animation was great but on the larger map you couldn’t see all of the map so I had to rely on the minimap as well.

Kudo for the editor mode, it’s simple but work well.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I created the  editor for myself to easily create the levels and I thought it might be a nice addition to the game so added it in as a bonus, glad you liked it :D

Cool game!

My only real criticism is that the game looks great... but because the relevant information is shown only in the little minimap I spent the whole time staring at that instead of the pretty main board.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I understand your point on the minimap. I was debating this point during development... I felt the puzzles were too hard/frustrating when the minimap was just the solved state and on the other hand could be "misused"  when it showed all information. I didn't have a solid idea I could implement during the jam so I opted for making it easier instead of more frustrating. I wanted people to be able to experience the editor mode as well :)
