Ooo, that "Player Activated" vs "Automatic/Passive Information" framework provides a really informative way to think about things, thanks for sharing.

Great to see you linking to http://gameaccessibilityguidelines.com/ I've always really liked how they provide the various categories to provide guidance on how developers can get started with small pieces first.

If anyone is using Godot or Rust (standalone or with Bevy and/or egui) I'm aware of these related projects, which might be useful to you:

I've also previously researched some general accessibility/TTS topics to educate myself more on what resources are available, so some of those items listed in this issue might be helpful to others too:

Also, on the Text-To-Speech front I recently discovered this offline Free/Open Source TTS project and it is amazing in terms of quality & diversity of voices:

It has a standard set of fifty voices available in multiple languages, accents & genders, voice samples can be heard here:

I was so inspired by the narrative possibilities of Larynx that I started developing a Godot-based app to make it easier to write, audition & "record" scripts with the voices--which I must get around to "finishing" & releasing one day. :D

Anyway, not sure if I'm going to participate in this jam at this time as I've already got another couple of Jams lined up for December but think it's great that it's happening & wanted to share the little I knew that might be helpful to others. :)
