First of all, WOW, THANK YOU for such a detailed and kind response! We're both absolutely thrilled here that you had such positive thoughts about the little game we made.

Sorry about the little random sound effect. Funnily enough, I had written a tune for the game and put it in there, just didn't activate it at the start of the game because I was afraid it would be annoying just having one loop for the whole game, but now I really regret it since multiple people have brought it up. There are a few more bugs, but I'm glad they weren't super apparent lol.

As far as having a ROM file, it isn't too impressive since I used GB Studio, which is a drag and drop engine that exports to a Gameboy and Gameboy Color ROM, as well as HTML. But I'm glad you thought it was a polished product and was impressive. :)

Thanks for doing all these reviews. It really means a lot to have someone come in and give feedback on something that we spend so much time on. I hope I get to see more games from you in the near future as well!

I told one of the other developers on here this as well, but I know all too well how frustrating it can be to put so much time and effort into a project, just to get a comment like "wow", or "cool", or "neat". Not to say anything negative to those who write those comments and mean that, but it can be a rather underwhelming reaction to something that required so much of our skill and time. That's why I only comment on something when I'm willing to actually put some thought into what I'm going to say. Otherwise, what's the point?

I'm glad I was able to support and experience what you all did with this game. Like I said in my previous comment, although this isn't generally my kind of game, I can still recognize how much work you put into it, and I think that deserves to be acknowledged and praised. So, once again, fantastic job on this. :)
