(Didya read ittttt?)
"Sun." Edin snapped. He was getting louder. "Sun, hey! Sunburn!"
He pushed Sun and he fell onto his side, narrowly missing hitting his head on the hearth.
(yeeeeees, and man I loved it! I love how sweet the boy is, and I agree, I wanna punch the mother for ruining the sweet moment. U, U)
He quickly pick himself up, and turn back to him.
“What-?! What do you want, what else must you try with me, eh? Are you gonna try peeling off my skin again, trying making my other eye match the left-!?”
(Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Chapter four is coming soon because crowbie doesn't sleep-crowbie has...Mental issues.)
Thalia and Edin looked at each other, unsure. Sun had always been a safe bet to bully but now it was like he was a wild animal... had he finally snapped?
"If he tries to hit us," Edin hissed, "we can take him. Together. Besides, we can just go running to mother and he'll be tossed out on his ear."
"Yeah, yeah." Thalia agreed.
(…Poor crowbie-)
“…Oh Thalia.. you poor.. poor brat, have you forgotten that about one detail? I still hold all the cards in my hands, and if you two somehow “did” take me.. heh.. your forgetting that mother would toss “you” to put, with a snap of a finger..-“
He snarled, his voice seemed a bit harsh as his grip began to tighten around his book..
Thalia pulled on her brother's sleeve, fear clawing up her insides all of a sudden.
"Let's just go, Edin."
She said and she hated the pleading tone in her voice. Edin nodded slowly.
"Yeah, yeah, let's."
Edin turned his back on Virgil and pulled Thalia out of the room.
"We'll get the sunburn back tomorrow."
they scurried out.
Timeskip to the next dayyyy-
Sun took in a sharp breath of pain and let it out in a sigh. He looked down at his fingers. They were dotted with his own blood, dark like it had started to clot.
"Shouldn't've let him get the jump on me." He thought as he finished tending to the cut on his forehead. "Should've known better. I can't win in this house."
Virgil had never cried over this. He'd never cried over his situation, never cried over everything that had happened since his dad had died. At least, until now. Now, he couldn't seem to stop scrubbing at his eyes to stop tears spilling over and running down his cheeks. Because he knew, if he started crying now, he'd never stop.
Sun took another deep breath and closed his eyes. Only he couldn't calm down. Whenever he closed his eyes, all he could see was the edge of the bottom step travelling towards his head at high speed. Or maybe he'd been falling towards it at high speeds. He'd been so dizzied he hadn't been sure. Sun snapped his eyes open so he wouldn't have to relive that again.
"Day 1, day, 2, day 3, day 4," Virgil counted under his breath as he pointed at the pictures of sunsets. "Day 5, day 6, day 7, day 8, day 9, day 10."
Sun took another deep breath and sighed in a slightly more contented way.
Thalia: "What are you doing?"
